Milan, Sept. 14 (LaPresse) – Carabinieri intervened this evening in Milan, on Via Fratelli di Dio, where a 70-year-old Italian man, after attempting suicide by jumping from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment, struck an 83-year-old Italian woman passing on the sidewalk below, killing her instantly. The 70-year-old was rescued and transported in critical condition, conscious, to Niguarda Hospital, where he is currently not in life-threatening condition. The scene was attended by the Mobile Unit and the San Cristoforo Carabinieri station.
