Milan, 11 September (LaPresse) – ‘We have received the family's consent for inclusion in the Famedio, which I think is already an important thing.’ This was confirmed by the mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala, when asked on the sidelines of the 11 September commemoration about the recognition of Giorgio Armani, who died last week. As for naming a street after the designer, as requested by a motion from Noi Moderati, Sala replied: ‘We are still in the same situation. I have been mayor for nine years now, and the rule is that you have to wait ten years. What we did for Veronesi, we will do for Armani.’
