Livorno, Sept. 10 (LaPresse) – Damage and disruptions caused by rain and wind have hit Tuscany, particularly the island of Elba and the province of Livorno. On Elba, at least 200 people are currently isolated in the area of Forno, in the municipality of Portoferraio, due to a landslide blocking road access. Firefighters are also at work in the provinces of Massa Carrara, where at least 30 operations have been carried out to clear roads of fallen trees, branches and roof tiles, and in Livorno, where around 60 interventions have been recorded.
