Rome, Aug. 26 (LaPresse) – A 26-year-old Gambian man, arrested by the Carabinieri in Rome, has confessed to sexually assaulting a 60-year-old woman on Saturday in the park of Tor Tre Teste in Rome. The man voluntarily admitted the charges and stated that he acted under the influence of drugs, which he had purchased a few minutes earlier in the nearby Quarticciolo district. The arrest must be validated by the Rome Tribunal. The investigation is being coordinated by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office.
