Naples, August 21 (LaPresse) – "Regional technicians are already working on an initial assessment of the damage and the areas affected by the heavy rains currently hitting Veneto. While work continues, including that of the civil protection teams on the ground, I have declared a Regional State of Emergency related to this phase of bad weather," announced Veneto Region President Luca Zaia. "As the weather evolves, the affected areas will be updated and the impact on the territories assessed. The file will remain open until the emergency ends," Zaia concluded.
