Naples, August 18. (LaPresse) – A 29-year-old woman has died following a fire that broke out last night in a building in Rivalta, in the province of Turin. The flames started around 9:30 PM on the second and top floor of the building on Via Cadore. Firefighters from Turin and the Alpignano Volunteer Fire Brigade, along with the Carabinieri from Orbassano, intervened at the scene. A 67-year-old man was transported by ambulance to the Rivoli hospital, where he remains under observation. His 29-year-old daughter was airlifted to the Cto Hospital in Turin, where she passed away shortly after due to smoke inhalation. The apartment has been seized and the building declared uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
