Milan, August 10. (LaPresse) – Lava flow at 3,000 meters this morning on Mount Etna, with the opening of an effusive vent located on the southern flank of the Bocca Nuova. This is reported by the Etnean Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV). The lava flow is moving south, and surveys are being conducted by INGV staff on the ground. Seismically, no significant changes have been detected. The source of volcanic tremor is located at an altitude of 2,800 meters between the Voragine and the North-East crater.
