Milan, 2 August. (LaPresse) – He had already boarded a flight to Bahrain when he was intercepted and arrested: at Malpensa airport, police stopped a 24-year-old French man of Moroccan origin, wanted by the French authorities for crimes related to jihadist terrorism, who had failed to report to the authorities as required. The 24-year-old had been reported as departing from Malpensa airport bound for Bahrain on board an aircraft. Using computer systems, the Malpensa Air Border Police launched a search for the 24-year-old: the man was tracked down on board an aircraft already taxiing on the runway. The police, in coordination with the airport management, blocked the plane's take-off and it was returned to a parking area.
