Milan, July 28 (LaPresse) – A second death from West Nile virus has been reported in the Lazio region. According to available information, the victim is a 77-year-old man who died today at the Spallanzani hospital in Rome.
The man, who had previously undergone a transplant and suffered from multiple chronic conditions, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday with a persistent fever.
He was from the province of Frosinone and had recently stayed in Baia Domizia, in the province of Caserta.
