Vatican City, July 27 (LaPresse): "You cannot pray to God as ‘Father’ and then be harsh and insensitive toward others." This was said by Pope Leo XIV, who appeared at the window of his study in the Apostolic Palace to recite the Angelus with the faithful and pilgrims in St. Peter's Square. "Rather, it is important to let ourselves be transformed by His goodness, patience, and mercy, to reflect His face like a mirror in ours," the Pope added. "Dear brothers and sisters, today the liturgy invites us, in prayer and charity, to feel loved and to love as God loves us: with availability, discretion, mutual care, and without calculation. Let us ask Mary to know how to respond to this call, to manifest the sweetness of the Father's face," he concluded.
