Rome, 21 July (LaPresse) – A lethal dose of heroin may have killed Emanuela Ruggeri, the 32-year-old woman found dead last night in Rome's Mandrione neighbourhood. The 32-year-old's mobile phone is missing, from which a text message was sent to her mother the day after her disappearance. According to the investigations coordinated by the deputy public prosecutor of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, Giulia Guccione, who has opened an investigation into the death as a possible consequence of another crime, the woman had used heroin in the past. The autopsy on the 32-year-old's body will be carried out today at the forensic medicine centre of the Tor Vergata polyclinic. The woman left her home on the evening of 14 July to meet a friend, but has not been seen since. After the autopsy results, the investigation will focus on phone records and CCTV footage from the area.
