Rome, 16 July. (LaPresse) – "I would like to thank the Prefect, Commissioner Ciciliano and all those who participated in this important meeting, which focused in particular on security, with truly impressive measures, but also on all other aspects of the site's preparation and hospitality for what will not be just a one- or two-day event, but a whole week of widespread and well-attended events. On Tuesday, there will be a Mass with 60-70,000 participants, followed by two days of events in dozens of Roman squares, a lively encounter with the city. On Saturday, there will be confessions at the Circus Maximus, while on Sunday there will be a vigil and Mass with the Holy Father, at a site whose preparation is now at an advanced stage and which will include six areas, security corridors, access points, medical support, water supply and service infrastructure never seen before. The National Civil Protection Agency has taken on a fundamental role in coordinating and strengthening public services'. These were the words of the Mayor of Rome and Special Commissioner for the Jubilee, Roberto Gualtieri, after the Committee for Public Order and Safety meeting at the Prefecture in Rome, ahead of the Youth Jubilee, which will begin on 28 July and end on 4 August.
