Milan, July 16 (LaPresse) – The president of the Triennale di Milano, Stefano Boeri, is among those under investigation and subject to searches as part of a new urban planning probe by the Public Prosecutor's Office, which hypothesizes charges of corruption and falsification against several suspects.

At this very moment, 24 personal and home searches are underway involving public officials from Milan’s administration, entrepreneurs, and designers. Orders to produce documents have also been executed in the offices of the Municipality of Milan.

Around 80 officers from the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza are engaged in the investigative activities ordered by prosecutors Marina Petruzzella, Paolo Filippini, and Mauro Clerici, who, together with Deputy Prosecutor Tiziana Siciliano, have been coordinating investigations into construction sites and real estate projects in the city for the past three years.

The "archistar" and professor at the Politecnico di Milano has already been involved in the inquiries related to the BEIC (European Library of Information and Culture) and the Bosconavigli project at Scalo San Cristoforo.
