Milan, 15 July (LaPresse) – Fifty thousand euros in provisional compensation for personal and psychological consequences due to the circulation of a sexual video. This is the request made by lawyer Stefano Benvenuto, representing the girl who in 2023 reported Leonardo Apache La Russa for sexual assault, today during the hearing on charges of aggravated revenge porn against the third son of Senate President Ignazio La Russa and his friend DJ Tommaso Gilardoni. Judge Alessandra Di Fazio, called upon to decide whether or not to prosecute La Russa junior, has postponed the decision until 13 November, pending the outcome of the main proceedings on the events of 18-19 May 2023 following the evening at the Apophis Club in Milan, the one for sexual assault on which a request for dismissal has been filed by public prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro and her assistant Letizia Mannella. Today, the young woman, who was 22 at the time, joined the proceedings as a civil party in the case in which the son of the third highest-ranking official in the state and his friend are charged with circulating “sexually explicit content” of the girl on WhatsApp during the evening without her consent. The lawyers of the two young men, Adriano Bazzoni, Vinicio Nardo, Alessio Lanzi and Luigi Stortoni, did not oppose the civil action, but pointed out that it would be appropriate to wait for the outcome of the sexual assault hearing before taking any decisions. If the charges are not dismissed, the two cases would have to be joined.
