Milan, July 13 (LaPresse) – "In reference to press articles regarding legal proceedings involving the Elkann siblings, we confirm that John, Lapo, and Ginevra Elkann – with the aim of swiftly and definitively closing a painful personal and family matter – have reached a comprehensive settlement with the Italian Revenue Agency concerning potential tax liabilities related to their inheritance from Donna Marella Agnelli," stated a spokesperson for the Elkann family. This follows a report by 'Il Fatto Quotidiano' suggesting that John Elkann is currently paying at least 175 million euros to the tax authorities. The spokesperson added that the agreement was reached "without any admission, even implicit or partial, of the validity of the initial allegations." The statement concluded by noting that discussions are ongoing with the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office, with no definitive outcome yet, and no further comments will be made out of respect for the institutions involved.
