Milan, July 13 (LaPresse) – Italian police have arrested a 16-year-old Iranian national residing in the province of Milan, accused of propaganda and training with terrorist intent, aggravated by the use of social media. The investigation, coordinated by the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office in Milan, revealed that the teen—known online as the "skyscraper nightmare" in reference to 9/11—shared jihadist content and links to ISIS propaganda sites. He had abandoned his original Shia faith to embrace the Islamic State’s cause and had expressed willingness to pledge allegiance to Daesh in a video. He also considered carrying out violent actions in Italy against “infidels,” prompting the issuing of a detention order.
