Milan, 12 July (LaPresse) – Yesterday evening, a new landing of migrants took place in Lampedusa. Mediterranean Hope, a project of the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy, reported the landing on the Sicilian island. According to reports, the migrants had been at sea for four days. The boat had stopped in international waters for a day and a half without fuel. ‘They tell us that at one point they found themselves between the Tunisian and Italian coast guards,’ said Mediterranean Hope. ‘They say that those who could swim jumped into the sea and reached the Italian coast guard boat. It seems that a Guinean boy is missing. Of the 63 who left four days ago, only 27 landed in Lampedusa.’
