Ancona, 12 July (LaPresse) – A 70-year-old woman was found dead this morning in the bathtub of an apartment in Via Bezzecca, in the Santo Stefano area of Ancona. The woman was a caregiver by profession. An elderly woman was inside the apartment and opened the door to the Croce Gialla emergency services, who arrived on the scene together with an ambulance, the local police and the Ancona State Police. Attempts to save her were in vain. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for the woman. The most likely hypothesis is accidental or natural death. According to initial reports, the carer may have suffered a sudden illness and fallen into the bathtub, or she may have slipped and hit her head. A forensic investigation will clarify the circumstances.
