Naples, 11 July (LaPresse) – ‘It seems to me that we are not holding back in Campi Flegrei, with all the problems and limitations imposed by the regulatory framework’. This was the statement made by the Minister for Civil Protection, Nello Musumeci, on the sidelines of the public meeting of the Industrial Union of Naples, in response to a question about the Campi Flegrei. ‘The infrastructure is already there,’ added Musumeci, "we just need to consolidate it, and for the first time in the history of the Republic, the government has begun planning and allocating funds. We already have four or five construction sites open, the programme was approved in May, and we will work until we have secured all public infrastructure, while we are already working on a survey of buildings to verify how many private owners intend to improve the structural conditions of their properties with 50% financial support from the government."
