Vatican City (Vatican), 9 July (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV meeting with the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, ‘reaffirmed the readiness to welcome the representatives of Russia and Ukraine to the Vatican for negotiations’. This was stated in a note released by the Holy See. ‘During the cordial talks, the importance of dialogue was reaffirmed as the privileged way to end hostilities,’ the statement added.
