Milan, July 5 (LaPresse) – The Seveso River overflowed due to heavy rains that hit the Brianza area this morning. Fifteen people were evacuated in Lentate sul Seveso, where the river flooded homes, particularly along Via Petrarca. Fire brigade teams are currently working on drainage operations, which will begin as soon as the river level allows for safe conditions. Over 50 calls were received by the provincial command operations center for flooding and fallen trees throughout Brianza.
