Naples, 4 July. (LaPresse) – The number of cities with red alert temperatures will drop from 15 to 6 on Sunday 6 July. According to the latest update of the Ministry of Health's heatwave bulletin, the 20 cities with red alerts today, Friday 4 July, will drop to 15 tomorrow, Saturday 5 July (Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Genoa, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Trieste, Viterbo, with orange alerts for Cagliari). On Sunday 6 July, only six cities will be on red alert: Ancona, Bologna, Campobasso, Florence, Palermo, Perugia and Pescara; Bari, Cagliari, Messina and Reggio Calabria will be on orange alert. After several days of intense heat throughout Italy, Sunday will also see a green alert in Venice.
