Milan, June 19 (LaPresse) – Regarding fingerprint number 10, "we did not request a repeat of the blood test," explained Giada Bocellari, lawyer for Alberto Stasi, "also because the other day we took two swabs: one to scrape off almost all of the biological material for genetic profiling, and a second residual swab to perform the OBT test. While it’s fairly clear that there’s no blood on the other fingerprints, there are doubts about number 10. We have therefore requested a more in-depth analysis on the swab used for genetic characterization, since it was taken from the remaining material." Bocellari made the statement while attending ongoing forensic analyses at Milan police headquarters related to the murder of Chiara Poggi, who was killed on August 13, 2007, in Garlasco. The biological trace in question does not belong to Alberto Stasi, Andrea Sempio, or any other previously tested individuals. “In the spirit of truth-seeking and providing all available data, I believe this is, as I often say, a secular and objective approach,” Bocellari concluded.
