Milan, June 12 (LaPresse) – Firefighters in Milan are currently responding to an incident at the Politecnico di Milano, at the campus on Via Mancinelli 7, inside the chemistry laboratory. The rupture of a refrigerator containing around five grams of diazonium salts could potentially cause a deflagration.
The premises have already been evacuated along with the laboratory staff, allowing the area to be secured. On site, in addition to the NBCR (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical, Radiological) unit of the Milan Fire Department, are also the bomb disposal experts from the Carabinieri.
