Rome: girl found dead with mother in Villa Pamphili, strangulation suspected

Rome, 9 June (LaPresse) – The girl found dead with her mother in Villa Pamphili in Rome may have been strangled. This is the initial hypothesis formulated by the medical examiner who performed the autopsy yesterday evening on the bodies of the mother and daughter, found dead 200 metres apart. The medical examiner did not find any signs of violence on the mother's body. The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the case as a double aggravated murder, has ordered further investigations to establish whether the adult woman may have died from a drug overdose.
