Rome, June 3 (LaPresse) – What was supposed to be a fun day at the pool nearly turned into tragedy for five children. According to LaPresse, yesterday morning there was a chlorine leak at a private swimming pool on Via Capanna Murata in the Borghesiana district of Rome, at the 'Imperium Eventi' venue, which caused five children to be poisoned. One of the children, a 9-year-old, is in serious condition and has been admitted to intensive care at the Umberto I Polyclinic in Rome. Emergency medical services (Ares 118) responded to the scene. Police are investigating.
