Turin, June 2 (LaPresse) – The Functional Center for Monitoring Natural Risks of the Lombardy Region has issued a yellow (ordinary) weather alert for thunderstorm risk, valid until 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3. During the alert, citizens are advised to be especially cautious near flood-prone areas such as riverbanks and underpasses. It is also recommended not to stop under or near trees, construction scaffolding, outdoor canopies, and tents. People are reminded to secure flower pots, balcony furniture, and any objects that could be displaced by severe weather. Attention should also be paid during outdoor events to avoid potentially dangerous situations. The Municipal Operations Center (COC) of Civil Protection will be active to monitor the situation and coordinate any necessary interventions in the city.
