We must be very careful about its modern manifestations. The Mafia tends to pollute the mechanisms of institutional life. It is a sensitive issue that we touch upon when we dissolve municipalities due to Mafia infiltration.’ This was stated by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi at the commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the Capaci massacre, as a guest of the Falcone Foundation.
