Rome, 22 May (LaPresse) – ’When we have to report someone, whether it's Pandori, eggs or something else, we have no qualms about doing so. The problem is that when you need to send a strong message to the country, you need people who attract people's attention and interest. We don't go looking at criminal records and we always have to see if they've been convicted. I don't think either of them (Chiara Ferragni and Federico ‘Fedez’ Lucia, ed.) have been convicted of any crime. I don't see why we should treat them as guilty, I don't see any impediment.’ This was the comment made by Carlo Rienzi, founder and president of Codacons, to reporters on Chiara Ferragni's presence at the event organised by his organisation against violence against women, stalking and homophobia, entitled ‘Oltre il silenzio’ (Beyond Silence). ‘We take what is useful for the community and the great notoriety of certain people who are able to draw attention to such an important social issue as this,’ added Rienzi.
