Vatican City, May 21 (LaPresse) – "Dear brothers and sisters, Saint Paul the Apostle teaches us: 'Each one will reap what he sows.' In a world divided and wounded by hatred and war, we are called to sow hope and build peace! May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Good Counsel, accompany us on our journey," said Pope Francis as he greeted the faithful in German during the Wednesday general audience. "We are used to calculating everything – and sometimes it's necessary – but this does not apply to love! The way this ‘wasteful’ sower scatters the seed is an image of the way God loves us," the Pontiff said earlier.
