Vatican City, 12 May (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV arrived in the Paul VI Hall for a meeting with journalists and media representatives. The Pontiff was greeted with prolonged applause upon his arrival. That of media operators is a "beatitude that challenges us all and concerns you closely, calling each one to commit to a different kind of communication, one that does not seek consensus at all costs, does not use aggressive words, does not espouse the model of competition, and never separates the search for truth from the love with which we must humbly seek it. Peace begins with each of us: with the way we look at others, listen to others, speak about others; and, in this sense, the way we communicate is of fundamental importance: we must say “no” to the war of words and images, we must reject the paradigm of war."
