According to an initial reconstruction, the 25-year-old went to the victim’s house around 4:30 AM. After a conversation in the courtyard of the residence, for reasons still under investigation, the young man stabbed the 42-year-old in the abdomen multiple times.
The 25-year-old was arrested by the carabinieri at the scene of the crime, where he was found with a kitchen knife – likely the weapon used in the murder – still stained with blood.
Investigations are ongoing by the Vigevano Operational Section, coordinated by the on-duty prosecutor.
