Milan, 26 April (LaPresse) – Thabet Suliman, a 23-year-old Palestinian with an Israeli passport, is ‘alert and cooperative’. He is the only survivor of the Faito cable car accident, in which his 25-year-old sister Janan lost her life. The young man, who is being treated at the Ospedale del Mare hospital, spoke with his brother, who is staying at the Residence Ospedale del Mare, in the early afternoon, according to the ASL Napoli 1 Centro. ‘His respiratory parameters are improving significantly. His kidney parameters are still uncertain due to insufficient diuresis,’ the ASL said, adding that “the patient remains in intensive care and the prognosis remains uncertain for the next 48 hours.” Thabet Suliman has been hospitalised since Thursday 17 April, the day of the accident.
