Rome, 21 April (LaPresse) – ‘I have nothing more to say or even think, I am empty. I can only say that there will never be another like him.’ These were the words of Carla Rabezzana, cousin of Pope Francis, who lives in Portacomaro, in the province of Asti, the pontiff's hometown, speaking to SkyTg24. ‘I spoke to him last week. Just a few words to tell me to be brave. I was ill too, so I told him we would keep each other company. He spoke very softly. He knew I had hurt myself, so he told me to ‘get well soon’,’ she explained. The last time I saw him here was to celebrate my 90th birthday. “For what remains of me,” she said, ’that day will be remembered as one of the best days of my life.’
