Rome, 1 Apr. (LaPresse) – Grant Paterson, the 54-year-old Scottish tourist who was injured in the explosion of the building in Monteverde, Rome, between Via Pio Foà and Via Vitellia on Sunday 23 March, has died. The man, who was staying at a B&B, suffered burns to over 70% of his body in the explosion caused by a probable gas leak, and was admitted to the burns unit at Sant'Eugenio hospital in Rome. The Rome public prosecutor's office has ordered an autopsy on the 54-year-old.
