Milan, March 26 (LaPresse) – Teams from the Fire Department Command have been dispatched to the Perfetti Factory in Lainate, via Clerici 30, near the city center, following an explosion that occurred in an internal warehouse of the famous food manufacturing company. A thick column of black smoke is already visible from several kilometers away. Teams from the Rho and Lainate Fire Departments have also arrived to carry out initial interventions. According to the 118 emergency services, at least one person is reported to be involved in the explosion. The blast occurred around 2 p.m. in the warehouse of the well-known candy and chewing gum company. Ambulances from Areu, law enforcement, and fire departments are on-site.
