Rome, 4th March (LaPresse) – ‘Dis is not denouncing the prosecutor Lo Voi, it is denouncing the compromise. Which is a different matter. We represent the facts, we don't start from those responsible for the facts. A document has been compromised, we have presented the facts to the Public Prosecutor's Office (in Perugia, ed.) who will assess whether all the conditions are met for this case to represent a crime, and these investigations are the responsibility of the Public Prosecutor's Office. In the complaint presented, no one responsible for the compromise has ever been identified. On the other hand, there is the principle of legality that says that, by virtue of a primary rule of the State, I have a duty to report a compromise’. This was stated by the general director of DIS, Vittorio Rizzi, in response to journalists during the presentation of the 2025 Annual Report on information policy for security, edited by the Information System for the Security of the Republic and referring to the previous year. In recent weeks, DIS has filed a complaint with the Perugia prosecutor's office for the dissemination of a confidential AISI document.
