Rome, 13 Feb (LaPresse) – ‘No deportation. This is one of the fundamental points of the Holy See’. This was said by the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, on the sidelines of the anniversary of the Lateran Pacts, speaking about the proposal of US President Donald Trump on Gaza. ‘It makes no sense to move 2 million people,’ Parolin further said, ’The neighbouring countries are not willing to accept them. Parolin emphasised how this could ‘create a new emigration crisis’ and remarked that ‘the solution is that of two states, also to give hope to the population’.
