Milan, 12 Feb (LaPresse) – Nearly one million euros of money paid by Massimo Moratti to the organisers of the scam using the name and a falsified voice of Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, his staff and a fake ‘general’ has been blocked by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office. The money was identified and blocked in a Dutch bank account that emerged from the first investigations by the Carabinieri coordinated by Milan Prosecutor Giovanni Tarzia and Prosecutor Marcello Viola, also using international judicial cooperation instruments. The former president of Inter and chairman of Saras would be the only ascertained victim of the scam that last week allegedly paid with two bank transfers almost one million euro in response to a request for ‘help’ for the release of Italian hostages in the Middle East.
