Rome, Jan. 29 (LaPresse) – Hearings to validate the detentions of 44 of the 49 asylum-seeking migrants taken last Friday to the Cpr in Gjader, Albania, will be held in the Court of Appeal in Rome on Thursday. For five of them, four minors and one vulnerable person, the return to Italy has already been arranged. The Capital's Court of Appeal judges will have to decide in 48 hours whether or not to validate their detention in Albania. All other detentions had not been validated and the decision had been postponed pending the European Court of Justice ruling on the safe countries dl scheduled for 25 February.
