Milan, 10 July. (LaPresse) – Fiorentina announces that it has acquired the sporting rights of footballer Edin Dzeko. Born in Sarajevo on 17 March 1986, Dzeko has signed a contract that will tie him to the Viola club until 30 June 2026, with automatic renewal until 30 June 2027 upon the fulfilment of certain conditions. The new Viola player played 53 matches last season with Fenerbahçe, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists. During his career, he has also played for Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma and Inter, scoring a total of 369 goals and providing 153 assists. Dzeko, who has won one Bundesliga title, two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, one Community Shield, one English League Cup, two Italian Super Cups and two Coppa Italia titles, has also played for the Bosnian national team on 141 occasions, scoring 68 goals and providing 29 assists.
