Rome, Apr. 8 (LaPresse) – From the classrooms of Pavia to the top of the music charts, up to the mysterious "escape" at the height of success. Mauro Repetto, co-founder together with Max Pezzali of the legendary duo 883, returns to the stage with "C’erano una volta…883”, a one man show that blends music, storytelling and comedy. Directed by Maurizio Colombi, the show is not a simple nostalgic celebration, but a journey halfway between reality and fiction. Repetto, who in 1989 gave life to that hit-making factory that became a milestone of Italian music, leaves behind the role of the "little blond guy who danced" to take on that of narrator and singer, finally performing the songs he helped write. After Cesano Boscone, Busto Arsizio and Genoa, next dates are April 16 in Concorezzo (cinema teatro San Luigi) and April 18 in Fortunago (Teatro Azzaretti). The audience will be transported on a journey through three generations, marked by iconic video clips and the band’s timeless hits. Repetto will share snapshots of unrepeatable moments, revealing anecdotes about the genesis of the songs and telling the secret hidden in his dreams. The story unfolds through the key moments of Mauro Repetto’s life, starting from 1989 when, together with Max Pezzali, he created 883 and wrote the band’s most successful songs, destined to become true milestones of Italian music.
