Milan, 20 March (LaPresse) – The death of Chuck Norris has sparked a wave of messages of condolence from his Hollywood colleagues. The martial arts master and action film star of “Walker, Texas Ranger” had turned 86 just a few days earlier. Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are just some of Norris’s colleagues who have expressed their condolences on social media. “My deepest condolences on the passing of my friend, Chuck Norris. We knew each other from back when I was young and I always had great respect for the man he was. My heart and prayers are with his family. I will never forget him,‘ Stallone wrote on Instagram. ’Chuck Norris is a champion. Ever since I was a young martial artist and then started working in films, I have always looked up to him as a role model. A person who possessed the respect, humility and strength necessary to be a man. We will miss you, my friend," Van Damme wrote, also on Instagram. ‘I had a lot of fun working with Chuck. He was an American through and through. A great man, and my condolences to his wonderful family,’ commented Lundgren. ‘Watch out, evil world, there’s an angel of great importance at the gates. Chuck Norris doesn’t just put on his wings, he takes revenge,’ wrote Lorenzo Lamas on X.
