Turin, Jan. 29 (LaPresse) – The appointment with ‘La Pennicanza’, the program hosted by Fiorello together with Fabrizio Biggio, is back, airing Monday through Friday at 1:45 p.m. on Rai Radio2, RaiPlay, and channel 202 of digital terrestrial television. In the preview of the program, the showman focuses on current events and the damage caused by Cyclone Harry, with a focus on the Sicilian town of Niscemi: "That's where the attention is focused right now. Politics obviously exploits the situation, but this is not the time to argue. The priority is to think about those who are suffering and have lost everything; it's time to act. Let's hope that what happened in 1997 doesn't happen again. Our Prime Minister has assured us that the situation is different: we trust him.“ Fiorello returns to current affairs at the end of the program and admits: ”Since I started this program, I've been making a lot of enemies, everyone calls me offended. They are offended by those who comment on what I comment on, but there are things in the news that need to be said." The showman also talks about cinema, with a promotional call for Gabriele Muccino's new film: “After seeing the film, Fiorello sent me an 8-minute voice message… actually, two voice messages.” He continues: "I make my actors lose control, and to do that, I take them out of orbit: I have my methods. Today my film ‘Le cose non dette’ (The Unspoken Things) is released, with an incredible cast: Stefano Accorsi, Claudio Santamaria, Miriam Leone, Carolina Crescentini. There are some surprising twists!" Fiorello: “The film is a must-see… it exceeded my expectations.” Fiorello then reads the news item ‘A bistro on the roof of St. Peter's’: “But who would dare to open something like that? Briatore? Gianluca Vacchi?” wonders Fiorello. The inevitable connection with the Vatican immediately follows: "Peace be with you. Which restaurant are you talking about? I didn't know anything about it. But does this mean that during the Angelus I will have to hear the noise of plates and glasses? A waiter shouting: ‘Two strozzapreti at table four’? I have no words… Maybe they'll call it ‘La Penitenza’ (Penance). What will they do, a menu according to Matthew? What will they eat? Cacio e Papa? I Santi in bocca? Sant'Honoré? It will definitely be something illegal. I'll make an anonymous phone call to the Guardia di Finanza.“ The Camerlengo intervenes: ”Holy Father, you cannot make an anonymous phone call: those who spy are not children of Mary."
