Turin, 18 January (LaPresse) – "Yesterday, I was peacefully enjoying my weekend when I received persistent phone calls from a number I didn't have in my contacts. I sent a message asking who it was. He told me he was a journalist from Il Fatto Quotidiano and wanted to know my position on the referendum on justice. I pointed out that I did not appreciate being called so insistently and that if I ever wanted to express my opinion on the subject, I would do so through my own channels. End of conversation. In response, this morning I found an article in Il Fatto Quotidiano by this journalist insinuating that I had been hired by the Meloni government as a spokesperson for the Yes campaign. Obviously, there is no journalistic evidence to support this, but there is a quote from me that almost suggests I have something to hide. Pure madness'. Fedez writes this in a series of Instagram stories, denying the news that he is committed to voting “yes” in the referendum on constitutional justice reform. ' The only “fact” that is certain is that, to date, I have only had guests on my podcast who are campaigning for the No vote (Gherardo Colombo and Nicola Gratteri). I would kindly ask Il Fatto Quotidiano to publish a denial of this totally unfounded rubbish or else publish the evidence for what they have written. Congratulations on your excellent work, as always," added the rapper.
