Milan, 24 November (LaPresse) – Ornella Vanoni's walnut-coloured coffin returned this morning to the Piccolo Teatro, where the chapel of rest will reopen at 10 a.m. to allow the many fans already queuing in the rain to pay their last respects to the singer. Last night, the body was moved to allow the theatre to stage the show as planned, as “Ornella's death was unexpected and she would not have wanted to interrupt the programme”, as explained by the staff. At 2:45 p.m., the funeral service will be held in the church of San Marco in the presence of the mayor, Beppe Sala, and city authorities.
