Rome, Nov 19 (LaPresse) – Lucio Corsi announces the release of his new single, "Notte di Natale," coming out tomorrow, Thursday, November 20, on all digital platforms and on radio rotation starting November 21. Written by Corsi himself together with Tommaso Ottomano, the song explores the more intimate and melancholic side of the Christmas holidays, with a reflection on the passing of time, the need for closeness, and the loneliness that often emerges during Christmas. With his poetic and cinematic style, Corsi tells a story set in the cold December, where small gestures of people and the passage of time emerge as symbols of rebirth. The single’s cover features a drawing by Giulio Melani, depicting a hitchhiking moon. The single comes just days after the release of La Chitarra nella Roccia – Lucio Corsi dal vivo all’Abbazia di San Galgano, a live album released on November 14, which captures the essence of Corsi’s music in a unique performance. The concert, recorded in the historic Abbazia di San Galgano, was also previewed at the Rome Film Festival and will be available for streaming on Rai Play starting November 22. The live album, which includes 21 tracks, traces the artist's career and features songs from his latest album Volevo essere un duro (gold record). The performance is enriched by the participation of 15 musicians, including Tommaso Ottomano and Francis Delacroix, and a concert film shot on 16mm film, offering an intimate look at his music. The track arrives just days after the release of La Chitarra nella Roccia – Lucio Corsi dal vivo all’Abbazia di San Galgano, the live album released on November 14, following the release of the eponymous concert film, which was previewed at the 20th edition of the Rome Film Festival and will be available for streaming on Rai Play starting November 22.
