Milan, 17 November (LaPresse) – The Court of Monza has acquitted Marco Castoldi, known professionally as Morgan, of contempt of court charges against several police officers for remarks made to them during his eviction from his home in Monza in June 2019. The case is dismissed is the formula used by the judges against the Monza Public Prosecutor's request to sentence the 52-year-old artist to nine months' imprisonment. The reasons for the ruling will be filed within 90 days, but the Court accepted the argument of the artist's lawyer, Roberto Iannaccone, that the expressions used against the police, such as “executioner” and “undertaker”, were provocative “artistic” and “theatrical” content.
