Rome, Oct 17 (LaPresse) – The health of Brigitte Bardot, icon of French cinema, is causing concern. The 91-year-old actress, according to local media, has been hospitalized in Toulon for several weeks and underwent “surgery for a serious illness.” Although the exact nature of the condition has not been revealed, her hospital stay, kept secret until now, is raising concern in France. This is not the first time B.B. has faced health problems. In July 2023, rescuers rushed to her home due to a heat-related illness. Her husband, Bernard d’Ormale, said on that occasion: “It was around 9 a.m. when Brigitte had difficulty breathing. It was worse than usual, but she did not lose consciousness. Let’s call it a moment of respiratory confusion.”
