Rome, 6 October (LaPresse) – No more hearts, Coma_cose are splitting up and the decision seems to be final. After many successes linked to Sanremo, Fausto Zanardelli, aka Edipo, and Francesca Mesiano, aka California, are going their separate ways. The announcement on Instagram confirms what had already been in the air for some time: "It was a unanimous decision that had been maturing over the last few months, during which we preferred to keep the matter private in order to process it and respect all our various commitments. The truth is that we never stopped during these years and took too many things for granted. the great synergy at work gradually cannibalised our private life, which inevitably wore out and died, and the closer we got to the date we had set to put the Coma_cose project on hold and take some time for ourselves, the more we realised that we were now just a couple on stage and there was really nothing left to pick up," they explain in a long post. "It has been 10 amazing years, a daydream that has led us to meet people, places and situations that we could never have imagined. We thank everyone who has supported us and whose lives have crossed paths with our music, and all the people we have worked with. You will always be a fundamental part of our lives. Love changes, and so has ours. We will always be something special and unique. “Goodbye is not an option,” says a song, and since there is no hard feelings between us, we will do everything we can to stay in touch. Now, however, it is time to walk alone, each on our own path, and rediscover ourselves with the melancholy that comes with parting, but with the awareness of a new world opening up before us. Thank you, it has been wonderful."
